Running an entrepreneurial business is not easy, especially when you have little knowledge of how to do it. The risks and challenges are compounded when you’re considered a traitor to the Crown and intensely detested by a good majority of the public. Likewise, Royal author Tom Quinn tells the Mirror that “Prince Harry has never had any real idea about becoming an entrepreneur or a businessman in his own right.”
Instead, the Duke of Sussex has been “trained from birth to do one thing” and one thing only — “to be a royal, and he has thrown that away.” As a result, Quinn believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future is in “serious trouble,” as they are blindly taking risks, trying to become the successful royals that they never were and now likely can never be.
“[Prince Harry’s] His 100% support for his wife and her business ventures has never wavered, but it hasn’t been enough to make a success of her company. Meghan is proof that self-belief won’t always guarantee success. It won’t always make you a great entrepreneur and businesswoman.”
Tom Quinn, Mirror
Meghan Markle is attempting to live the “American Dream” A-lister life by ‘believing in herself’ and indirectly devaluing her husband Harry publicly by playing the victim. However, no amount of victimhood will get King Charles to provide support for their royal security issues while trying to find a house in the U.K. Conversely, the Sussexes have become a despised duo to the Palace as a whole, especially to the King and Harry’s older brother and his wife, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Speaking of ‘playing the victim,’ CBS Sunday Morning recently posted an interview of two speaking “on the dangers of online harm.” It is more than clear that the couple was pointing a finger of guilt at the public for relentlessly criticizing them for their endeavors. However, the viewers of this YouTube video weren’t having it, with an overwhelmingly negative like-to-dislike ratio, along with endless comments bashing the hypocrisy of the Sussexes. It’s quite admirable that Harry and Meghan are still hopeful for their jams and doggy treats, though.
