Have things between Prince Harry and the rest of the British royals got so bad that he is not even going to connect with them during his trip to the United Kingdom? While we cannot comment on any conversations that are being had between Harry and his family in private, the public perception is that reconciliation is not coming anytime soon. Especially after the recent report that alleges Prince Harry will not even meet up with his father, King Charles.
Prince Harry Won’t See His Father King Charles
Prior to Prince Harry’s trip to the United Kingdom, there was chatter about whether he would see any members of his family. It was recently claimed by a royal expert that it was unlikely he would meet with his brother, Prince William, or see his niece, Princess Charlotte (despite her recently celebrating her birthday). However, fans of the Royals, who were holding out for a reconciliation, will be disappointed to know that Prince Harry is not even going to be meeting with his father (who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year).
“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” a spokesperson for Prince Harry told E! News in a statement.
While ruling a country is demanding work, many people would think that after not regularly seeing his son, there may have been a small gap in the schedule to accommodate him. But no such luck, and apparently the Duke of Sussex is OK with this. The spokesperson claimed he was “understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities” and “hopes to see him soon.”
As for when soon will be, well, that remains to be seen.
