Prince Harry is making a huge move to possibly end the feud between him and the royal family. The Duke of Sussex is said to be planning an extended trip to the UK so that he can spend some much needed time with the royals, such as his father King Charles and brother Prince William. Harry reportedly hopes to reconnect with his family after years of bad blood and high tension between them. However, Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, reportedly isn’t happy about the situation.
According to Closer, sources claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to spend about a month apart as he heads to the UK. Meanwhile, Harry is reportedly feeling extremely nervous about heading home to see his family and friends. He’ll also reportedly spend his birthday in his home country. Of course, Meghan won’t be by his side. She’ll allegedly remain in the US with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Prince Harry Finally Ready to Put Royal Family Feud to Rest, but Meghan Markle Isn’t So Sure
“She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his homeland for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him,” the insider revealed. “She’s got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the children. The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds really painful.”
The source went on to reveal that Prince Harry would love for Meghan Markle and their children to join him in the UK. However, he understands that his wife doesn’t feel comfortable in the country or with the royal family. He allegedly doesn’t want to force her into a tough position that would be too stressful for her to deal with.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s decision to take an extended trip to the UK seems to be a good sign. Hopefully, while he’s there he and King Charles and Prince William can have some good conversations as they look to mend fences and move passed their issues.
