With the memorial service of Queen Elizabeth II coming in a few days, all eyes are on Prince Harry‘s next move with his father, King Charles. It feels like the two have been at odds for ages, with no end to their feud in sight. However, some experts speculate that a royal reconciliation might be around the corner for the father and son. One such expert told Daily Express US that “Harry would love to return to the UK, at least part-time.” However, followers and critics aren’t buying it.
“You mean they want to go back to the racist toxic prison they escaped from?” sarcastically asks a commenter. As a refresher, Henry claimed that the media in the UK created a “toxic environment“ that also involved racism, which the Prince himself was a part of, according to BBC. We all know the rest of the story by now: the young royal left the palace with his American wife, shamed the UK and his family, and has been holding a grudge ever since. Of course, King Charles hasn’t taken his son’s wayward behavior sitting down and banished the Prince from Frogmore, never to return.
Any News of Prince Harry Attempting Reconciliation Is Just PR, Critics Say
Over the years, there’s been an on-and-off trend of experts claiming that Prince Harry and King Charles are ready to reunite, but such a reunion has yet to happen. And critics feel like this so-called desire of Harry to become a “part-time” is nothing more than “Sussex PR manipulation again.” Many feel as though Harry and Markle are using these experts to publicize the idea of them mending their relationship with the Royal Family. “The Grifters are manifesting in Yahoo and Radar Online. It is not even People anymore lol,” joked one critic, implying that the Sussexes’ PR are allegedly reaching out to any publication they can for recognition.
One person pointed out how the experts’ comments on Prince Harry’s plans contradict Meghan Markle’s recent statement about not being able to be her “authentic” self in the Royal Family. “They totally live in a world of their own,” remarks another. “They are considering? Like they can choose to work for them or not.. Pathetic!” exclaims a third.
Doubting that Prince Harry will ever get back into the royal fold isn’t a new trend by any means. Just a few months ago, when BBC had an interview with Harry, the YouTube video was loaded with comments condemning the Prince for even thinking he could reconcile with the King. Not to mention, the Like-to-Dislike ratio was a disaster. That all said, being a part-time prince sounds cool on paper, but very few are rooting for the Duke of Sussex, besides his PR crew.
