After a very successful and well-received pre-alpha stage, Project Loki is taking it to the next level. After much playtesting, the studio behind the League of Legends meets Apex Legends title is ready to enter alpha. This is huge for players who can’t wait to see the finished product and want to see a more fleshed-out game. Furthermore, Theorycraft has announced a partnership with renowned companies to bring Project Loki to Asia. So, if this installment wasn’t on your radar, it should be because it is going global.

Theorycraft Announced Partnership With NEXON and NetEase to Bring Project Loki to Japan, Korea, and Asia

PROJECT LOKI | Entering Alpha & Asia Partnerships

Alpha stage aside, the fact that Project Loki is coming to Asia thanks to its partnership with NEXON and NetEase is huge. If you didn’t know, the Asian MOBA community is huge. With this game’s focus and the many systems it is throwing into the mix, not letting players from Eastern countries play would be a loss. Thankfully, that won’t be the case because, once the game launches, more players worldwide will get to jump into this fast-paced, team-focused action.

For those interested in the game’s development, it seems to be going smoothly. As you can see in the brand-new video we included above, there’s a bunch of new gameplay that will excite many. The fact that Project Loki has reached alpha means we’re closer to getting a full release. The launch date is uncertain, but production seems to be going steadily. Hopefully, the upcoming playtests will give feedback to the studio to get this title out of the oven quickly.

So, if you’re lucky enough to be in the playtests, enjoy them as much as possible. And if not, don’t forget to follow Project Loki because it’s on its way to becoming a worthy hero-shooter installment.
