On Friday, a man taking part in an anti-ICE protest was filmed being tackled to the ground by officers identified as ICE agents on a roadway in Minnesota. In the video, which was shared by @GuntherEagleman on X, the man can be seen wearing a fox mask as he danced in front of his phone, which appeared to be mounted on a knee-height tripod positioned several feet away.
As he continued filming, four officers approached from behind. Two of them tackled him to the pavement, while the remaining officers moved toward the surrounding crowd in an apparent effort to keep the situation under control. The two officers restraining the man worked to pull his arms behind his back as he lay on the ground so they could place him in handcuffs.
Nearby protesters who witnessed the arrest became visibly agitated, and a few started raising their voices. At least one protester can be heard shouting profanities in the officers’ direction in the background of the video.
As of the time of writing, the man’s identity has not been released, and authorities have also not publicly stated the specific charge that led to his arrest. However, information circulating alongside the clip suggests that he was allegedly blocking traffic at the time.
How People Are Reacting to the Activist’s Arrest in Minnesota

One person compared watching the video to enjoying “a perfectly cooked and seared steak with a nice glass of bold red Merlot.” Another mocked the protester’s appearance, writing that “their stupid costumes aren’t going to protect them.”
“They’re there for attention, yet when they get it, they cry,” one netizen remarked. Other people left comments like, “Looks like ICE out Foxed him,” while another added, “I could watch this on a loop and not get bored!”
