In celebration of the PlayStation 4 turning 5 years old, Sony will be dropping the prices of some of their most popular exclusives. Announced on Tuesday, they will be selling some of their greatest hits under the new PlayStation Hits label for $20 a piece.
Sony posted the announcement on their blog earlier this week:
From award-winning epics to family-friendly favorites, PlayStation Hits offers an awesome lineup of games for $19.99 USD (MSRP) each on PlayStation Store and select retailers across the U.S. In Canada, PlayStation Hits games will range in price, starting at $19.99 CAD (MSRP) each at participating retailers and PS Store.
The PS4 Hits line will be available at the end of this month, June 28, 2018, and has some pretty stellar titles. The titles include:
- Battlefield 4
- Bloodborne
- Doom
- Driveclub
- Infamous: Second Son
- Killzone: Shadow Fall
- The Last Of Us Remastered
- Little BigPlanet 3
- Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience
- Project CARS
- Ratchet & Clank
- Street Fighter 5
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Yakuza 0
- Yakuza Kiwami
The games included in this special price drop will look a bit different. In retail locations, the PlayStation Hits line will be in bright red cases instead of the traditional blue cases for PS4 titles. They will also feature a red banner across the top detailing its spot in the collection. This special banner will also set these special titles apart in PS4’s online store as well. In the past, Sony has had the same packaging for their “Greatest Hits.”
