Quirky New York ‘Horse Girl’ Intern Fired for Biting Coworkers, Also ‘Said Rawr Regularly’: ‘I Can Fix Her’

Was being so quirky worth it?

Since the early 2000s, the quirky girl archetype has been something many boys (and girls) have swooned over, but what if you take that personality into a professional workplace? Well, nothing good, actually, as a New York intern was fired from her position at a prestigious law firm for biting her coworkers. This wasn’t just a playful one-time thing, either; she reportedly did it so often that her associates started wearing long sleeves to avoid being bitten. According to an X post exposing messages about her, she also claimed to be a “horse girl” and said “rawr” regularly.

While the intern’s biting allegedly wasn’t “aggressive,” per se, it still was something that got out of hand and definitely shouldn’t be done in a workplace setting. Above The Law reports that her bites were done with her teeth, as opposed to a soft lip bite. On top of that, she was also accused of embarrassingly ordering a $2,000 bottle of wine at a work dinner. No doubt, she likely has other bizarre things she’s done at her workplace and to her colleagues, but her termination has ensured that this weird saga is over.

While her poor coworkers likely have to deal with the mental scars of being bitten and ‘rawred’ at at work, the internet certainly found this tale rather funny. “I can fix her,” sarcastically remarked a Reddit user. “Omg the “rawr”, what year is this?” another said in disbelief. “That girl obviously has issues, don’t expect much logic,” stated a third.

If you’re wondering why she wasn’t reported sooner after the first few ‘bites,’ one commenter allegedly has the answer: “From what I gathered, the summer associates didn’t report it right away because it was awkward, and they didn’t want her to lose her job.” Another person guessed it was because she was very attractive. Whatever the case, she should have stopped with the weirdness after they gave her another chance then and there. Alas, she sacrificed a possibly great position for being quirky.
