Protests have become increasingly common lately, and while the majority of them are peaceful and are done in a manner that doesn’t bother bystanders, some people remain unhappy with them. One example of this situation happened in New York, where a man tried to disrupt a peaceful protest by harassing those involved. However, things took a turn when the disruptor started provoking protesters and became so angry that he even started foaming from his mouth, making him look rabid.
Reddit user ohhyouknow shared the footage of a protest outside of a government building in New York, where a man, out of the blue, arrived to try to disrupt this peaceful gathering.
As you can see in the video, the group of people is playing music and holding each other’s arms peacefully when the harasser arrives to try to break up the protest. First, he approaches the group and starts pushing them, hoping to break everyone’s embrace. However, things escalate quickly as the disruptor starts getting into other people’s faces and hurling all sorts of insults at them.
There’s even a funny moment where the one filming the situation shifts the camera toward two perplexed police officers who stand there without moving a finger. The harasser, who had failed at provoking the protesters, takes things a bit too far by grabbing one of the people from behind, which is clearly a way to taunt the protesters into doing something aggressive. However, this fails as those in the protest stand peacefully and try to ignore this man as best they can.
In the end, the disruptor stands near a fence, hurling even more insults, but at this point, he is so angry that his mouth starts foaming, making him look like a scary, rabid man.
As expected, many people who saw this man’s deplorable conduct shared strong and humorous opinions about him online.
“His mouth is literally foaming at the end.” said one user.
“What an absolute cartoon character of a human.” commented another person.
Fortunately, it seems that the outcome was relatively peaceful, as the man eventually backed off and let the protesters be. However, he made a fool of himself and became branded as the rabid New York man.
