As a parent, you’re always doing what you can to protect your children. This is especially true when they enter that terrifying stage of getting behind the wheel of a car. One mom protected her teen driver like a true momma bear when a racist Karen was giving them a hard time on a California road. Apparently, the driver was calling the kids disgusting slurs. The mother really let her have it, leaving her stunned from the encounter!
TikTok user Juicycrys posted the video, wherein you see her quickly walking to the Karen. She’d been having a road rage episode, too. “Um, I’m gonna call the police on you. Because those are KIDS” Crys says to the driver. Apparently, the Karen got out of her vehicle and confronted some teenagers inside a vehicle, calling them “dumb*** kids” and the N-word. She also accuses her of being on the phone and not paying attention, almost leading to an accident.
As the Karen attempts to interrupt, Crys bravely continues, “Hold on. If anybody was gonna hit your car, what would your reaction be?” At this point, the Karen’s teenage daughter speaks up. She meekly says, “I’m sorry for my mom but she’s just aggressive sometimes.” The fact that a teenage girl even needs to say this is upsetting in itself.
Crys turns back to the woman and says, “This is your teenage daughter right? Imagine me almost hitting the back of her car… and I hop out the car and approach her, ‘Do you wanna fight? Do you wanna fight?’” She points out the Karen should’ve known better, especially with all the slurs she was slinging. And to teenage kids, no less.
In the end, the Karen tries to defend herself but fails miserably. Crys said she already talked to her own daughter, who said the Karen was driving “aggressively” toward her. She said her daughter also confirmed the Karen was on her phone while she was driving. Crys went on to file a report with police, saying her daughter was a victim of road rage, assault, and racism.
“Even the daughter said, ‘sorry for my mom. She’s aggressive sometimes!’ That’s all the proof you need right there. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes,” said one commenter. Another person said, “Very well handled by you! You didn’t let her deflect, you pressed the issue & respected her daughter. Bravo!”
This is the way we like to see parents handle things. I’m not sure if I could have kept my cool personally if I saw somebody treating my child that way. Props to Crys for having her kid’s back and standing up against that racist Karen!
