It’s long been known that women can’t seem to catch a break, especially Black women. If they aren’t being faced with cultural adversity, then they’re belittled for simply being women. A Florida woman was unfortunate to have met with a racist man while trying to remove her vehicle from a pothole that it had gotten stuck in. Fortunately, a tow truck driver showed up in the nick of time and made sure to put the racist in his place.
The above video was posted to TikTok by @queenpettyjk, also known as JK on her profile. She typically posts random videos about her everyday life, which revolve around her dog and shopping. This time, things were a little bit different. She captured a racist trying to block her from moving her vehicle after it got stuck on the side of the road. Things took a turn for the worse when he began to get verbally aggressive with a tow truck driver who arrived to help JK.
Instead of allowing the tow truck driver to do his job, the racist man decided to get in his face. Fortunately, the driver was on the woman’s side and was being just as aggressive back. One comment in particular even said, “Ive never known a tow truck driver who was easily intimidated. They have no problem matching energy and exceeding it.“
Florida Tow Truck Driver Likely Saves Black Woman’s Life
Eventually, the racist man laid hands on the tow truck driver, despite being told not to, and things blew up. The driver can be seen trying to shove the racist off so he could attend to the woman’s vehicle. In a follow-up video, it was revealed that the man with the white beard who wasn’t allowing her to leave was arrested for attempted kidnapping and false imprisonment of an adult.
After the woman updated her viewers on her safety and the arrest of the racist man, she also explained that he only received two years of probation for the crime. She also uploaded a few more clips from the evening, showing just how much the tow truck driver wanted to ensure that she was safe.
Many commentators took note of this, with some of the most popular replies being, “That’s definitely somebody’s daddy , big brother or uncle ❤” and “May the man helping you be blessed with every green light for the duration of his life.” Fortunately, the woman was unharmed and able to be removed from the situation safely.
