Do you know what’s worse than a regular Karen? A HOA Karen, and the latest one to attack, did so in a neighborhood in Florida. One neighbor from this area recorded a situation where this woman approached him to harass him while he was taking his trash to the bins. Initially, one would think this Karen was just in the usual “Karen mood.” However, that wasn’t the case, as it seems the woman was being racist all along.
The victim of this HOA Karen recorded the whole ordeal to expose the woman. In the clip, you can see how this lady approaches the man who just wants to throw his trash inside the bins. She pulls over in her car, with the phone ready to record the situation, and tells the man that he can’t throw his trash there. However, the man corrects the lady, saying he is allowed to throw his trash inside those bins.
During all this exchange, the man remains polite and collected, while the woman keeps pushing him, telling him to go away and demanding his name. At one point, the victim asks the Karen if the reason she is harassing him is due to how he looks. The woman stays quiet for a bit, then starts to stutter. She then says that two weeks ago, she was the president of the HOA, and she never met the man. Yet the victim asks her if she knows everyone in the neighborhood, but the annoying lady doesn’t have an answer.
The man steps away, and the Karen remains there, laughing as if she were some kind of villainess. Unfortunately, the woman doesn’t relent and continues to follow the poor man until he enters his vehicle and drives away.
As you can see, this woman was clearly racially profiling the man who was minding his own business. Then again, this is expected from any HOA Karen out there.
With the video out, a lot of Redditors decided to share their thoughts on this woman, many of them shaming her behavior.
“She’s so dramatic,” said one user.
“Florida? Can’t be. This stuff never happens here,” commented another user sarcastically.
It is extremely sad to see this type of harassment, but it seems that it is a staple among many HOA members. We can only hope that these entitled people learn the meaning of “live and let live” one day, but that seems almost impossible.
