Some people simply find TikTok videos annoying, but going as far as hurling racial slurs and even threatening a couple of girls for making TikTok videos is not exactly justified. Hence, the offending woman in Texas has been labeled as a racist and a “Karen” online for her actions against two Black girls, and the repercussions were quite consequential, as she not only got evicted but also fired.
Instagram user everythingvictorya or Victorya from Frisco, Texas, uploaded the video above, and she’s the mom of one of the two 12-year-old girls whom the woman harassed. The incident, which took place on March 10, began when girls began recording short videos at a nearby park for their TikTok and were approached by the woman.
The children told a woman who approached them that they were simply filming content for TikTok and that the park was open to the public. Sadly, the situation quickly escalated. The woman allegedly began shouting racial slurs at the two Black girls, repeatedly directing offensive language at them after becoming angry about the cameras near her yard.
“My daughter called me crying and scared,” the mother said in a statement shared on social media. She said she ran toward the park with a friend while carrying her 3-year-old child, arriving to find the woman continuing to shout insults. She then threw her own insult at the White woman, saying, “Nobody wants you… your poor dog don’t even like you.”
The mother alleges the woman then turned her anger toward the family, using additional slurs and claiming the children “didn’t have fathers” and that the family could not afford to live in the area.
The Racist Woman was Evicted & Fired
The confrontation escalated further when the woman allegedly pulled a weapon from her waistband and threatened to harm the family in front of the children. Sadly, this segment of the altercation didn’t seem present in the video. Victorya claims police got involved but allegedly did “nothing” after responding.
Thankfully, it appears the mother and the two Black girls somehow still got a semblance of justice, because it appears the racist, identified as Ashton Best, is now on GiveSendGo asking for $10,000 in a fundraiser to help her “rebuild.” Witness accounts have stated that Best was evicted from her Frisco apartment and also fired, which could explain the fundraiser.
Surprisingly, Ashton Best’s fundraiser has so far raised $6,245 at the time of writing, with some comments even rallying behind her, saying, “Sorry you had to live among savages. Too bad your poor dog didn’t take a leg off of the animal that kicked it.” It’s not clear what happened off-camera, but Best was still caught calling the Black mom and two girls a common and offensive racial slur.
