It appears that Southwest Airlines just hasn’t had very much luck with customers lately. Just the other day, a woman was kicked off a flight for being incredibly rude to the employee at the terminal gate. Despite that video going viral when it was posted, it seems that people still haven’t learned their lesson about how to behave at an airport. The latest scandal involves a mother not only being rude to the airline workers in front of her children but is racist as well. It’s a good thing that the entire interaction was recorded and reposted to the internet for everyone to see.
Because of how close the cameraman is to the situation, it almost looks as though he might have been part of the woman’s group. The video begins with a woman trying to get her point across after requesting some kind of help. Before the start of the video, the Southwest Airlines employees must have decided not to help her anymore, as shown by their demeanor. However, it makes sense why they probably didn’t want to help the woman right around the middle of the video where she then makes a racist remark. Unfortunately, her children were right there to hear the slur.
After jumping into the replies, you can see other commenters do not quite understand why the woman did what she did. Some even quickly pointed out that she continuously contradicted herself throughout the conversation.

I personally believe that there is never a time and place to be racist to anyone for any reason. What’s even worse about the situation is how unphased her children seem to be by her behavior. It really makes you wonder how she behaves behind closed doors. Regardless, it doesn’t seem like this is something that she’ll be repeating any time in the future.
