Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 is the new addition to the Season 2 Reloaded update. But it comes with many puzzles and tricks to complete. Here’s a full guide on how to complete this new Task Force 141 mission.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 added a new part to the franchise that we had never seen before. Although DMZ is also a new mode here, the Raid missions are more of a focus on the storyline.
These raid missions are a part of the Modern Warfare 2 story, but you must complete them with your friends. It’s sort of a Co-Op campaign, which is fun to do. Meanwhile, completing them requires all three team members to focus entirely and finish some puzzles.
Raid Episode 1 was added in the Season 1 update a few months ago, and now we have the second episode in Season 2 Reloaded. Now, while this part’s first mission was more of a bot-killing task, you need to think more about every move your team makes this time! Here’s a complete guide on this new raid episode.
Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 Step-by-Step
In this mission, you must get to the top of a missile. You get the point; there will be lots of climbing and jumping you need to be ready for!
Step One – First Climb: Once you begin the mission, you will face a ladder you can climb and then catch the yellow ledges to continue. Then you need to proceed until you reach another climbing point.
Here you need to split up and do the climbing one at a time. One teammate goes climbing, while the others need to turn two valves to open the way for them. There are pipes on the way that block the climbing player, which is why the others must help him.
Once one of the teammates is up there, he can see another valve. There the player can manage to help the other teammates to pass this first puzzle in Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2.
Step Two – Jumping Puzzle: After you proceed through the mission and fight a Juggernaut, you reach a place with three consoles. You and your other teammates must interact simultaneously with each button, and then you will see some platforms popping up from the left wall.
Remember, this task repeats through the mission; the best you can do is learn the pattern first. Then you should jump on each platform one at a time. If two players stand on one platform, you’ll fall and respawn.
When all three of you reach the other side, this puzzle of Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 is over. You must use the zipline to go up and continue your mission.

Step Three – Jumping Puzzle 2: When you reach the place with the zipline, you see another jumping puzzle with the exact same console. Again, push the button with your teammates simultaneously, and for the first time, don’t jump! Just watch the platforms and learn the pattern.
This puzzle is far more complicated than the previous one, and you must learn the way first. After jumping on three platforms, you need to jump down to the right. Then climb a pipeline to the top, and continue jumping on the following platforms. Once all three players reach the other side, this puzzle of Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 will be over, and you will proceed through the mission.
Step Four – Fight your way: This section of the Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 includes no huge puzzle. All you need to do is fight the enemy AI, climb from the ledges, and use ziplines.
Remember that before using the final zipline to the top, you need to have a teammate turn a valve. Once you reach the top, you can use another valve up there to help your teammates use the zipline. This is all like the first puzzle of this Raid.
Step Five – Jumping Puzzle 3: This is the hardest part of Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2. Teamplay is the best here; you need to jump to a dedicated platform.
Once you run the console here, you will see the platforms on the left will come out. If you go as the first person, you must look at the fence on your right. When you reach the end of it, count three platforms and jump forward.
You must jump across when you reach the third, and your other teammates must do the same thing with the platform across them. You become the last person on the line, and you can continue. Remember that two players can not stand on the same platform! It will make you both fall and respawn.
Last Step – The maze: After you continue through the dark route with flashlights, you reach the last puzzle. Here you must have another great collaboration with your teammates and make your way through.
Three points in this maze will block your path. If you start first, you will reach a locked door your teammates must open from a terminal. A gas button is also there; you must push it simultaneously when opening the door.
Once you are inside, you will notice the water with electricity. You need to jump over the obstacles and avoid the water until you reach the fans. These fans can be stopped by pushing a dedicated button by your teammates, and you will reach the end of this puzzle.
This puzzle in Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2 requires all your teammates to communicate through a voice chat. Unless you really won’t be able to do all the tasks at the right time.
After one player reaches the final room, you notice that AIs will attack the place quickly. There are the same terminals and buttons on the other side, too, so you must find and push at the right time to help other teammates get through.
Remember that for this puzzle, only one player at a time can proceed. Also, try to figure out each button before sending a teammate inside the maze. The steps are as follows:
- Turning the gas off.
- Opening the door.
- Stopping a fan (one of the three).
- Opening the last entry.
After all three players are on the other side, a final fight will occur, and then you can finish the Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare. In the end, you must run away from the gas and blow some doors and walls to complete the mission.
You will be rewarded with a fantastic story cutscene at the end. This scene confirms the return of a Modern Warfare 2019 character!
