Xbox has been on fire recently when it comes to acquisitions for its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Not only have there been some top quality games such as Tell Me Why and Age of Empires 3, but there have been some big-budget acquisitions as well. For example, Destiny 2: Beyond Light is coming to Game Pass PC and Console, and you can currently slaughter demons on console with DOOM Eternal. Today, the game service gets even bigger with Rainbow Six Siege coming to Xbox Game Pass for Console and Android on October 22. You can read the full Xbox Wire news post here.

Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person shooter from the team at Ubisoft. Two teams go head to head as a variety of operators, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Your goal is to either take out the opposing team or complete the objective in the time given. Sometimes you’ll be rescuing/defending a hostage, others you’ll be defusing/defending bombs. All of this is focused on tactical, team-based gameplay to complete your objectives. With the most recent addition of Operation Shadow Legacy, there’s never been a better time to hop into the game.

If you’re looking for a good first-person shooter that offers satisfying gameplay, Rainbow Six Siege is the game for you. The game is widely successful and for all the right reasons. With the amount of depth, variety, and enjoyment in the game’s core loop, there are hours of fun to be had. I’ve even dropped plenty of time on the PC version, more than I’d be willing to admit. With its introduction to Game Pass on Console and Android, I’m sure many players will agree that this is a very well made shooter.

I hope to see a lot of you out on the field in Rainbow Six Siege later this week. Will you be giving the game a try? If you’re already a fan, who’s your favorite operator? I have to give some love to my girl Frost. Either way, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
