Recall that in May 2023, news broke that Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak were going their separate ways after 12 years of marriage. However, two months later, the couple decided not to split, in an attempt to reconcile. Unfortunately, the attempt at reconciliation has seemingly gone down the drain as Biermann and Zolciak are at loggerheads again. What’s more, the second filing is tied to the continuous arguments behind closed doors.

Fans hopeful for a possible reconciliation between Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak will not be getting their wish. Unfortunately, Kroy Biermann filed for divorce for the second time, shortly after the couple put up a united front to work on their marriage. Sources close to the pair revealed to TMZ that despite halting the first divorce proceedings, Biermann and Zolciak never stopped arguing. According to insiders, the former football star would always threaten to file for a divorce but never did. However, after a nasty fight on Thursday morning, Biermann threatened once again, and this time, he kept to his word.
The sources told the outlet that the estranged couple was arguing over refusal to pay certain bills. They shared that Biermann and Zolciak blamed each other for their financial woes and became petty over who hadn’t paid bills. Sadly, the argument escalated, after which Kroy Biermann filed for a divorce filing. According to the divorce documents, Biermann is asking for sole legal and physical custody of their four children. In addition, he wants the reality TV star to pay for his attorney fees, child support, and alimony. In the meantime, the public is waiting for a response from Zolciak, while hoping for the best between the duo.

According to court documents obtained at the time, the former sports star claimed his marriage was irretrievably broken. Biermann also alleged that Zolciak was addicted to gambling, and requested that she underwent psychological evaluation. He also insisted that their children needed protection from the television personality because she was allegedly abusive toward him if they were present. On the other hand, when Zolciak filed for divorce, she accused Biermann of years-long emotional and mental abuse. She also demanded a drug test, claiming to have seen her husband smoking marijuana.
But despite everything that happened, news broke in July that Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak had dismissed their divorce petitions. The pair were hoping to work things out and were even seen in public. But sadly, that will not be happening. Nevertheless, despite Kroy Biermann filing for divorce, fans remain optimistic that the duo will sort out their differences.
