The Outlast Trials offers a fresh perspective on the acclaimed Outlast survival horror series. It will be immersing players in the same chilling universe as its predecessors. In this iteration, players have the option to brave the horrors solo or team up with friends in groups of up to four people. Set against the backdrop of the Cold War era, the game unfolds with players assuming the roles of test subjects abducted by the mysterious Murkoff Corporation. Trapped within a clandestine Murkoff facility, participants are thrust into a gauntlet of physical and mental trials, haunted by iconic characters. Whether facing these challenges alone or collaborating with a team, survival demands not only physical prowess but also the preservation of one’s sanity in the face of relentless torment.
