As we heard in the last months, Rockstar stopped the development of Red Dead Redemption 2. They’re working on the next GTA title, and the developers gave their all focus on that. RDR2 has very long story content; it is close to 100 hours with the side quests. If you exploited the game but are still seeking a reason to have time with Arthur Morgan, the recently released mod gives you a reason. The name is Contracts Remastered, which adds more missions you can take from NPCs in the Red Dead Redemption 2 game. The game already has that feature, but the mod adds a lot of new quests.
Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, isn’t welcome to third-party expansions. But we hope the mod stays with fans because there are no updates on the way for RDR2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Brings New Hitman Missions
With the additions included to the mod, you’ll be taking new hitman missions from the NPCs. The NPC will provide information about the target, and you’ll work like a serial killer. The method is the same as the original game; the mod just adds more with its own style. This is more likely a side quest doping for the gamers, and it’s only available for PC. The console games aren’t compatible with third-party modding.
The best part is missions are unlimited. They’re randomly generating, so you can keep getting missions until you get bored. The original game only allows you to take the available tasks, but the side missions are numerous now. You can get the mod from Nexus Mods, and you might need extra software to run the mod; follow the instructions.
Due to the stopped development, we hope to see more mods for RDR2 in the future. The game has an amazing open world with shiny graphics. The main content was satisfying, but we just couldn’t get it enough. By the way, Red Dead Redemption 2 is at a huge discount on Steam. If you don’t own the game, don’t miss that.
