Gearbox and Gunfire Games’ Remnant 2 is chugging full steam ahead with a pretty early release date. Imagine Dark Souls but with guns! Remnant 2 was given a surprise announcement during The Game Awards 2022. But its release date was a bit of a mystery until now. And there’s a dog in Remnant 2! Keep reading to find out more.
Remnant 2 – Release Date?
Remnant 2 launches on 25 July, 2023. The game looks surprisingly innovative, changing the dynamics of souls-like games with a plentiful sprinkling of both ranged and melee combat. But what’s new about Remnant 2? A dog! Earlier, we were given a sneak peek of a new Companion System for the Handler Class, showcasing a faithful German Shephard at your side.
In Remnant 2, this dog will aid you in battle, and when the going get’s tough, you can pet, coddle and play with him as you navigate the post-apocalyptic Dark Souls-inspired world.
In the meantime, you can take a sneak peek at the Companion Reveal trailer showcasing a bit of hack n’ slash melee combat along with a sprinkling of ranged gunplay. The community is pretty excited about what Remnant 2 has in store for them. But will the game feature PVP and co-op? That information is still up in the air.
