Elton John In Good Health Post-Hospitalization
After a tense wait, the prognosis is finally out. A representative for Elton John released an update on his health just hours after his hospitalization, dismissing the fall as a minor accident. In a statement released to People, the rep disclosed that the icon only visited the hospital as a precautionary measure. Hence, there was no cause for alarm. The statement read,
“Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
Despite the reassurance from Elton John’s rep after his recent hospitalization, his health remains a cause of concern in the music world. Notably, the legend, 76, has found himself embroiled in a series of health mishaps in recent years, with most affecting his mobility. Back in 2021, the star suffered a fall on a hard surface while embarking on his Farewell tour. The fall left him feeling considerable pain in his some parts of his body, especially his hips. As a result, he could not complete his tour, forcing him to postpone the remaining dates to 2021.
At the time, Elton John opened up about the delicate state of his health, and how failure to undergo surgery as soon as possible could further complicate things. Thankfully, the procedure turned out successful and he returned to his feet in no time. In fact, Elton returned to the stage sooner than anticipated, taking on his Farewell tour from early 2022 through the first half of 2023.
