In June, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition was announced, offering players many new features and content. Besides that, it includes the additional content named Winters’ Expansion. With the last showcase, we got a glimpse of a lot of things that Capcom has in the works for the franchise. The Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will have a bunch of features. And, of course, the Winters’ Expansion is one of these. The new DLC brings Third Person Mode to the title. It allows players to enjoy the main game from a third-person perspective. And the other one is The Mercenaries Additional Orders. It adds new playable characters and stages.
One of the most striking things with Winters’ Expansion is Shadows of Rose. This introduces a new story with Ethan’s daughter Rose as the protagonist. So, a while ago, PlayStation Game Size posted the file size of Resident Evil Village’s expansion on Twitter, which is reported to be 6.997 GBs on the PS5. It is also claimed that the file size of the expansion is the same on the other platforms. However, some feedback doubts that the file size is not sufficient for more extensive expansion.
