Respawn Entertainment, the people who gave us the Titanfall games, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, and many more, are at it again with a new game. Now it has been confirmed that their newest game would be an original IP, something they haven’t done ever since Titanfall came out all the way back in 2014. Here starts the speculation on what this new IP can be. Let’s look at what we know so far.
Information on this new game comes in the form of a job listing tweet and several other confirmations from the people that work for the company. Recently a programmer name Kah Hien Wong from the studio took to Twitter to look for a person to add to their “compact incubation team.”

The tweet also confirms that it is going to be a new IP and states that there are only 5 people on the team. There are other statements in the listing that don’t make any sense or give us any direction on this game’s type.
Looking at what Respawn Entertainment games does best, it will probably be a first-person shooter. They are exceptionally good at making first-person shooter games and making the controls perfect.
But we will have to contradict ourselves here looking at what Respawn did with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. They have made it clear that they can do amazing third-person games as well. So like we said, we have absolutely no idea what this game might be.
The one thing we can be certain of is that we won’t be seeing it anytime soon. There are many things that push this point forward, and the tweet claims that they will be building the game from scratch.
Another thing is that Respawn already has their hands busy. There are other games that they seem to be giving priority to. Of Course, Apex Legends is thriving, and there’s a Fallen Order sequel in the works. So yeah, we’ll have to wait pretty long for this one to come out.
