The Game Awards brought a lot of surprises to the gaming landscape of the next year. While some things had been leaked already like Diablo 4’s release date, there were others that were a welcome surprise. One of those is Returnal coming to PC. After being a PS5 exclusive, it is nice to know that Sony is still working on delivering its games to PC gamers. One that is also coming to PC is The Last of Us Part 1, the remake of the 2013 title. But, let’s focus on Housemarque’s latest game now, which has released Returnal’s PC system requirements. Sadly, they are pretty intense.
Returnal System Requirements for PC ask for a lot of RAM, Graphics Memory, and more
Returnal has been a game that made the rogue-like genre rise again. Playing against hordes of enemies in procedurally-generated maps is fun. Plus, it is one of the few games that runs at 4K and 60fps on the PS5. But, looking at the PC system requirements for Returnal will make buyers evaluate if their PC can run it. These are the requirements according to the Steam page:

Returnal’s Steam Release Could Be Edging Closer
As you can see, both the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Returnal are heavy. Most of the components are quite expensive and still hard to get in the market. Usually, PC players tend to find a workaround with various titles but we’ll have to see how the game performs when it launches. The game’s launch hasn’t been announced yet but it has a release window for 2023.
