Former talk show host Rikki Lake is another celebrity in the long list of Hollywood stars who have lost their homes in the LA wildfires. Lake posted a revealing and heartfelt post with her followers on Instagram, revealing the bizarre and devastating details of her and her family’s loss.
Like many other celebrities residing in Los Angeles, Rikki Lake is dealing with the harsh effects of the recent wildfire outbreak spreading across LA. However, according to E! Rikki’s story is slightly different from the other stars facing the same type of loss.
Rikki Lake shares photos on Instagram showing the pile of ash that was once her Malibu home. Lake details the events leading up to her loss. On Tuesday, Rikki revealed she saw early signs of smoke in Temescal Canyon. This led her and her husband, Ross Burningham, to set up a fire defense system they had on hand, which included sprinklers.
Sadly, the couple’s efforts were for nothing, and they were soon forced to evacuate their home. They were later notified that their house was a complete loss. However, Rikki Lake reveals that the loss was not a complete surprise. In fact, she was forewarned three months prior that she and her husband would soon face a destructive house fire.
Tyler Henry’s Scary Prediction For Rikki Lake
Rikki Lake is more than a little shaken up by the recent events. Not only is she heartbroken to have lost her home, but she is also spooked by a warning she received in October.
“We finally surrendered our efforts and left our home at 8.02 pm,’ and were ‘grateful to have made it out alive and uninjured.’ She added, ‘No doubt had we stayed, we would not have survived. Forever grateful to @kirbykotler_, our absolute angel. He did everything to try to save our precious property.”
Rikki Lake reveals that Tyler Henry gave her and Ross a spooky warning during her appearance on the Netflix series Live From the Other Side. During the reading, Tyler tells Rikki he sees a potential “house fire” and loss of material items from fire and water.
“The great @tylerhenrymedium called it! Less than three months ago, on Oct 15th, 2024, Ross and I were on Tyler’s show, and guys, he SAW the fire! Rikki writes. “Sharing for all who have been asking. Thank you for the love and well wishes,” Lake continued. “Again, please pray for those impacted by this catastrophic event and help if you are able. Bless our brave firefighters and first responders. May they stay safe.”
While Rikki Lake is grateful to have escaped unharmed, she admits that Tyler Henry’s warning has her a little freaked out. Rikki’s Instagram followers also praised Tyler’s psychic abilities in the comments.
“Yeah. He’s amazing. I still get chills with Alan Thicke. He is definitely a special human. Sending love and prayers” shares one fan. “What, omg, that’s incredible,” adds another.”
“Tyler Henry’s Life after Death is another one of his shows on Netflix. He’s amazing!” one more claims. “Wonder if he knows what or who caused the fires.”
