We often joke about Floridians being among some of the most unhinged and aggressive citizens in the country. While we’d love for that to be false, the citizens of this state don’t do anything to eliminate that stereotype. A recent example of this happened on a highway in Fort Myers, Florida, where two drivers got into an altercation that led to a road rage incident, and one of them pulled out a gun in the middle of the road. Even if no one was hurt during the fight, it was a scary situation for those involved and even those driving.
The video begins with two drivers engaged in a road rage incident on a highway in Fort Myers, Florida. The white Nissan vehicle seems to have already crashed beforehand, and it is now pursuing the driver in the black SUV. They continue speeding up on the highway and hitting each other. However, the one inside the white vehicle manages to perform a dangerous pit maneuver, making the one inside the SUV lose control of her vehicle.
The people filming decide to stop and call the police, but quickly notice that the woman who was inside the black car steps out with a gun. You can hear the woman who recorded the video scream, “She’s got a gun, she’s got a gun. Get in the car.”
Local sources claim the two involved didn’t press charges, and apparently, no one got hurt during the incident. Furthermore, police officers didn’t make any arrests, which is strange given how dangerous the situation was.
A lot of people were shocked by this road rage incident and shared their opinions on those involved.
“I would not be driving that close to these idiots.” Said one user.

While the whole situation was terrifying, what’s really shocking is that these people are still out there. Even if they didn’t want to press charges against each other, they endangered other drivers by driving carelessly and brandishing a weapon. Hopefully, the authorities will come to their senses and take action on this issue.
