If you’re trying to fill out the Bestiary in Roblox Fisch, or you just want a really good rod, the Magma Rod is one of the few rods in the game that costs nothing. Instead, you have to earn it by completing a quest, specifically the one given by the NPC known as Orc. You will need to prepare ahead of time, though. So, bring your best rod, some good bait, and your favorite boat.
Orc’s Quest Guide: How to Get Magma Rod in Roblox Fisch
Before you go off galavanting for the Magma Rod in Roblox Fisch, there are a few items you need to bring along:
- Seaweed bait
- A fishing rod with high Luck stat
- And a boat
Seaweed bait will come in handy down the road, since you’ll be hunting for Pufferfish shortly. They’re finicky about their food. While you could get Seaweed from Bait Crates, you’re better off buying Quality Bait Crates. You can find those on Terrapin Island, near the Shipwright—up the steps and to the left—for $525 a crate.
Pufferfish aren’t very heavy, so you don’t need a fishing rod with a high max kg; in fact, it’s best if you keep it as low as possible to narrow the type of fish you can catch. The Lucky Rod is just $5,250 (on Moosewood Island) or you can use the Haunted Rod from the FischFright Halloween event (also on Moosewood Island).
With your rod and Seaweed bait, hop into a boat and make your way to Roslit Island, north of Moosewood. Head towards the volcano at the other end of the island and you’ll eventually see the mouth of the cave and a small camp. Instead of going in, take the path to the right, around the volcano.
Keep the volcano to your left until you get to a small drop. If you look down, you’ll see another small camp and Orc, hanging out nearby. Go talk to him! He’ll tell you he’s pretty hungry and wants to grow bigger, and he thinks eating a Pufferfish will do that.
The good news is there’s a spot on Roslit Island where Pufferfish like to congregate. The bad news is that they’re rare. That’s why having Seaweed bait is so important.
On Roslit Island, you’ll find a lighthouse, and right below that lighthouse is a small area you can fish in to get Pufferfish.
Although your experience may differ, I managed to get a Pufferfish by my 8th cast. Just keep trying, and if you run out of Seaweed bait, go get more. When you do, hold the Pufferfish in your hands and give it to Orc and he’ll give you the Magma Rod in return in Roblox Fisch.

Why even bother with the Magma Rod in Roblox Fisch to begin with? Well, do you remember the cave that goes into the volcano? There’s a lava pool in there, featuring unique fish that can only be caught if you have the Magma Rod.
If you’re trying to fill out the Bestiary, which you should be doing if you want one of the best rods in Roblox Fisch, you’ll need the Magma Rod. It’s that simple! Don’t forget to enchant your fishing rod too; the Lure Speed stat is absolutely abysmal.
