It seems that every Roblox experience out there is celebrating the holidays in their own special way. In Dress to Impress, the developer ditched the Lana lore for more Yule-themed updates! The update involves brand-new quests spanning three chapters, giving players a whole new look at what they can expect from the dress-up game. Let’s review how to start each of the three Christmas quests, how to complete them, and what you can earn afterward!
How to Start the Christmas Quests in Dress to Impress
Each of the three chapters for the Dress to Impress Christmas quest starts in the same place: Winter Town. You can get to Winter Town by heading towards the outside area of the lobby while between games. Here, you will find a large, snowy portal that allows you to cross in and over to Winter Town. Here, you’ll have access to each of the three Christmas Quest chapters.
How to Complete the Chapter 1 Christmas Quest
Each of the three chapters can be reached via a train in Winter Town. If you’re playing with friends, you can join a server with either two, four, or eight players. Otherwise, I would recommend playing by yourself to get through it quickly. After arriving in the Chapter 1 area, you will be asked to locate Santa’s Workshop to start the first part of the quest.
Pack Gifts for the Elves
After finding the Workshop, Santa’s elves will ask you to help them package toys. More specifically, you will be asked to package seven toys within two minutes. You can choose from four different toys in the center of the room that you must match with their corresponding boxes. The gifts you can choose include:
- Train.
- Doll.
- T-Rex.
- Bicycle.
As gifts pass you by on a conveyor belt, you must make sure that seven of the packages have the correct toy inside. Once finished, you will leave the Workshop and move on to the next quest.
Candy Forest Obby
Right outside of the Workshop will be a long obby filled with candies. The goal of the obby is, of course, to get through without falling. If you do fall, you will succumb to the cold and must click your way out of it and start over from the beginning. You will start by jumping over peppermints, followed by gumdrops. The gumdrops are bouncy, so you will need to ensure that you safely land on the next one, or you will have to start over.
After the gumdrops will come a rotating candy cane. If the rotating candy cane hits you, then you’ll fall into the cold water and have to start over. Jump over the rotating candy cane as it approaches to ensure you don’t get hit. After the rotating candy cane, a chocolate bridge with another set of candy canes must be avoided.
Finally, there will be a wall with peppermints on it that must be climbed. Once you reach the very top of this wall, you will have completed Chapter 1 and can move on to Chapter 2.
How to Complete the Chapter 2 Christmas Quest
Accessing Chapter 2 is the same as accessing Chapter 1. However, you need to have completed Chapter 1 first. After starting, you’ll meet with Rudy the reindeer, who will take you on a quest to help find Santa Claus. First, Rudy will take you on a quick adventure through a snowy area to reach a cave.
Riding Rudy
Riding Rudy to the snow cave is probably the easier mini-game in the entire Christmas quest. You simply need to avoid all of the snowmen and present boxes, aiming for the wreaths to gain speed. Pay attention to your surroundings, because you can also find a Winter Token here and earn an in-game achievement for it.
Choosing Which Sleigh To Ride
After riding Rudy, you must ride one of three available sleighs in the cave to reach your next destination. There’s nothing more to do here than choose the correct sleigh, so make sure you choose the one on the far right, as pictured above. Once inside, you just need to enjoy the ride, wait until you reach the Sealed Door, and get ready to start Chapter 3!
How to Complete the Chapter 3 Christmas Quest
This third Chapter quest is the final one, and will start you up right in front of the Sealed Door. To continue, you will need to open it.
Opening the Sealed Door
Opening the Sealed Door is similar to the Candy Forest Obby from Chapter 1. You just need to use your mouse to click on the green area of the bar that appears. Every time you successfully land on the green, the thermometer will fill up until, finally, the door opens. Inside, you will meet Agamemnon, Santa’s doppler.
Defeating Santa Claus Boss
You have to defeat evil Santa in order to continue and finish the Christmas quest. To defeat him, pay attention to where he lands so that you can avoid his rings of cold. You only have three hearts, and every attack takes away half a heart, meaning you can only be hit six times before having to start over.
While watching out for Santa’s attacks, find any presents left on the floor and hurl them at him. These gifts will then explode, lowing his health until he is finally defeated. Unfortunately, things don’t end there. You’ll have to fight the Puppet of Darkness next.
Defeating Santa Claus: Puppet of Darkness Boss
The Puppet of Darkness is similar to the Santa Claus boss, but larger. His attacks hit harder and faster, making it a little more difficult to battle him. However, your attacks should be the same in avoiding his moves and using presents to deal damage. After defeating him, you will have completed all three Chapter quests and earn the following rewards:
- Ice Queen Dress.
- Ice Queen Cape.
- Ice Quee Shoes.
- Frigid Awakening Badge.
