Terminal Escape Room isn’t the easiest game to play on Roblox, but luckily, Chapter 1 through Chapter 4 has a beginner mode. It severely cuts down on the intricateness of the puzzles, making it much easier for you if you’re just a kid. Chapter 1 on normal mode has multiple layers to each puzzle and it can be a bit of a pain to keep track of everything, but if you’re still struggling on beginner mode, that’s okay!
How to Complete Seat Puzzle in Terminal Dead End Beginner Mode
As soon as you wake up from your seat, take notice of the clock. You have 45 minutes to complete Chapter 1: Dead End on beginner mode. The goal is to reach the front of the train before it crashes.
The first room you’re in has a keypad and will only accept the correct 4-digit code. Start by flipping every single seat. Oh, and if you’re holding the flashlight, put it away. It stops you from interacting with the seats (or anything, for that matter).
On one side, you’ll get: THE CODE: ENTER *$@%. The special characters are the code, but they’ve been encrypted. You need the cipher decoder to unscrammble the message. Luckily, it’s on the other side. You’ll get the code: 8425. Punch it into the keypad and you’re onto the next puzzle.
How to Complete Pete’s Cafe Puzzle in Terminal Dead End Beginner Mode
Welcome to Pete’s Cafe! Now, this puzzle has several layers. You need three things:
- Two quarters
- A keycard
- And a 4-digit code.
Start by grabbing the first quarter from one of the tables. That’s your first quarter. The second has to be withdrawn from the ATM by the door leading to the first puzzle. You need the 4-digit code, though.
See the tables with food? On the booths you’ll find a series of menus. Starting with Table 1, find the order and write down its cost. In this case, it’s a milkshake, which costs $3, so 3 is your first digit. The orders after are: pizza ($5), cheeseburger ($7), and salad ($2).
What do you get? The code 3572. Use that on the ATM for your second quarter. Take those quarters and use it on the snack machine. You can see the keycard is on 2C. Press the code on the machine, then hit the green button and the keycard is yours. Onto the next puzzle!
How to Complete the Sleeping Car Puzzle in Terminal Dead End Beginner Mode
The Sleeping Car is yet another multilayered puzzle in Terminal Chapter 1: Dead End, despite being on beginner mode. First, take a look at the Sleeping Car poster over the door to the next puzzle. The answer to each question on the poster gives you a number:
- Beds made neatly with sheets on: 9
- Beds without pillows: 5
- Messy beds with big blankets: 3
- Beds have no sheets or blankets: 6
When you go to use the keypad, the power will go out, a fuse will dislodge and roll into one of the other rooms. It’s glowing white. I find it’s easier to look for it without using your flashlight. Put it back in the fuse box and reset it.
Using your flashlight, look at the floor to find dots and circles. If you flip switches on the fuse box, you’ll notice that it’s either a circle or dot. Flip the switches so it matches the pattern on the floor. Now you use the 4-digit code on the keypad.
How to Stop the Train in Terminal Dead End Beginner Mode
As soon as you enter the last room, turn around and look on the wall around the doorway. You’ll find four posters with pictures and numbers, each of which pertain to a 4-digit code. These are hints as to where you’ll find them.
- First Digit: On the wall of the first room is a red light. It has 5 written on it.
- Second Digit: Between the two booths in Pete’s Cafe, on the floor. It’s 8.:
- Third Digit: In the last room, to the left of the red light poster. It’s a 6.
- Fourth Digit: On the computer in the last room. It’s a 7.
Use that code on the keypad nearby, pull the switch, and the game comes to an end. Congratulations! You’ve just completed Terminal Escape Room Chapter 1: Dead End on beginner mode!
