Over the years, Rocket League has proved to be a gift that keeps on giving for many players. Each new season has been filled with new content, such as new cars and arenas. It looks like Season 8 will be no exception. Today, Psyonix announced that the new season of Rocket League begins on September 7. An official blog post outlines much of what players can expect in the coming months. Before we get into it, check out the trailer for Rocket League Season 8 below!
First up, there’s this season’s Rocket Pass. Rocket Pass Premium includes the Honda Civic Type R, and there are loads of ways to trick it out.
“Paint the pitch with graffiti-themed Items like the Sprattle Boost, reactive Big Cap Topper, and Savage Spray Goal Explosion. Want to express yourself? Channel your inner meltdown with the Dumpster Fire Player Banner, or go for an old-school streetwear style with the Wrapstar Decal and Franko Fone Wheels.”
Leveling in Rocket Pass will allow players to unlock an upgraded version of the car, The Honda Civic Type R-LE.
Rocket League Season 8 will also introduce new arenas. The new season will launch with Sovereign Heights Arena. According to today’s post, a new arena for the Hoops game mode is coming later. That’s not all that has yet to be added. It seems players can expect a mixture of new and returning content in this new season of Rocket League.
“Season 8 has too much to show all at once, but word travels fast in the Heights. A new Hoops Arena coming later this season promises to revitalize the local streetball scene, while rumors of the annual Haunted Hallows event echo through the alleyways.”
If you’re excited to race into the new season, you don’t have long to wait! Season 8 begins on September 7 and ends on December 7.
