Psyonix has vowed to support Rocket League with consistent downloadable content, with the intent to keep all gameplay updates free and only charging for cosmetic items. So far, the company has been keeping their promise, releasing multiple maps and game modes for every platform.

“This October, journey into the depths of the sea and compete in AquaDome — a FREE new arena located at the bottom of the ocean!”
The trailer showcased the aptly-named AquaDome, a domed arena on the ocean floor surrounded by water and wildlife. As players’ cars ride alongside the walls chasing the ball, sharks, jellyfish, and colorful coral help set the ambience of the newest arena.
Alongside AquaDome, Psyonix will release two new DLC cars, available for purchase at $1.99 each. The Triton is introduced propelling through the water towards the dome similar to a submarine, while the Proteus bounces throughout the coral before smashing through a rock wall, revealing its crustaceous, Gary-the-Snail-esque eyes and bulky frame.
Outside of the October release, no specific information regarding the cars or map has yet to be released. However, with the recent battle mode addition of rumble, speculation would assume that AquaDome could possibly have its own rumble specific type map associated with the mode, adding even more variation to the newest game mode.
