Before we delve deep into the news, it is important to note that this is just a rumor. Nothing’s official yet until Sony or Insomniac announces it, but in the meantime, it is nice to dream. Now, moving to the actual news, there is a rumor circulating online claiming that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart might get a PC port. This wouldn’t be too crazy to believe, as many first-party titles from Sony have made their way to PC. The Last of Us: Part I is coming, and we’ve seen the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn arriving on Steam too. Now, there might be another big game coming.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart could be getting a PC port soon
According to a job listing, Nixxes, the company that did Marvel’s Spider-Man port to PC is looking for UI/UX Engineer. The job listing also mentions something that was used in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart which points at a PC port. Given how Insomniac already worked with this company, it isn’t too crazy to believe it would happen. If it does happen, it would be fantastic to get this game on Steam.
