Today SEGA and Two Point Studios confirmed the console launch date for Two Point Hospital; we previously stated it would launch in the first half of 2020. The time has been solidified as February 25th, 2020. Potentially more notable is that the Xbox Game Pass logo pops up at the end of the new trailer. This would suggest that although you can pre-purchase Two Point Hospital on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, if you want it for the latter, then it may be worth waiting just a little.

Okay so not only is there a release date now but I also caught a glimpse of this!!!… 😬 @2PointHospital @TwoPointStudios @xboxuk @XboxGamePass #TwoPointHospital pic.twitter.com/ko0KheIrpZ

Typically having the Xbox Game Pass logo on a trailer would indicate it as a potential for launch. At the very least, it will almost definitely come to Xbox Game Pass. But considering the current confusion over Control, let’s not get too excited. Developers Two Point Studios replied to the above tweet stating that more information would come soon.

Along with the date confirmation, SEGA and Two Point Studios dropped a 40-second trailer too. Two Point Studios say that they have worked hard to ensure the game plays smoothly on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.  And it will launch with the first two DLC expansions for the game, Bigfoot and Pebberley Island.

Two Point Hospital

Two Point Hospital is a spiritual successor to the 90’s game Theme Hospital. Players have to oversee a hospital, building rooms, and providing staff to cater and care for patients. There are 119 unusual illnesses to research and fix. The consensus is that the game manages to balance nostalgia with improvements, making it a strong successor.

Xbox Game Pass allows users to access a whole heap of games for a monthly subscription, which was recently as low as 5 cents per day,  which was a saving of 89%. The games on offer change periodically, and you will find a decent range of options to play from tiny indie titles to triple-A games.
