This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Another month, another Rust update is on the horizon. This update includes many nostalgic items like Shelter, Benelli M4, and Furnace from Rust Legacy, as well as new Frontier building DLC skin and more. Facepunch decided to add these nostalgic items due to Rust‘s 10th anniversary. Apart from that, there will be limited-time skins related to the Support a Streamer campaign, and some life quality improvements on the Oil Rig and Industrial stuff. This latest Rust update will definitely take you a stroll down memory lane.

Everything New Added to Rust With the November Update

Legacy Shelter

If you’ve played Rust Legacy before, this Shelter will be extremely nostalgic for you. This is because in Rust Legacy this item was used as a starter base. You will be able to craft this item from the Crafting Menu and place it wherever you want, and here is a cheap starter base. You can also put deployable items like Furnace and Chest inside.

Legacy Furnace

Another special nostalgia item Facepunch added in this Rust latest update for the 10th anniversary of Rust is the Legacy Furnace. This Furnace has the same performance as the normal Furnace, and the materials required for its craft are the same. This Legacy Furnace only looks different in appearance and only looks a little bigger than the normal one. This can make it difficult in tight spaces.

Benelli M4 Shotgun

The Benelli Shotgun is one of the legendary weapons of Rust Legacy and Facepunch is adding it to the game. The difference of the Benelli Shotgun is that its range is much longer than other Shotguns and it is automatic like the Spas-12. At the moment it cannot be researched or crafted, but this may change in the future.

Frontier Building Skin DLC

In addition, Facepunch again did not surprise players and decided to add a new DLC with this Rust latest update. Frontier Building DLC is a building skin compatible with Frontier Decor DLC in Rust. The developers don’t advertise it this way, but if you ask me, it looks similar to the textures of the wood structures in Rust Legacy. By the way, the skin is for the Wood material.

Gingerbread Building Skin

Also, the Gingerbread building skin is currently in the Rust Staging Branch, but according to the information given, this will not be a DLC. According to some content creators, this skin, which is also for Wood, is rumored to be added to the game as a Seasonal Item in December.

Purple Computer Station Skin & Purple Hazmat Suit Skin

Finally, through the Support a Streamer campaign, you can gift a subscription to a favorite Rust streamer on Twitch and receive the Purple Computer Station and Purple Hazmat Suit skin. This campaign will run from December 7, 00:00 am GMT until December 31, 23:59 pm GMT.
