Candace Owens isn’t holding back on Ryan Reynolds. The podcast host tore the actor to shreds after he and his wife, Blake Lively, were spotted at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event on Sunday. During the event, Reynolds appeared on screen and even joked about his wife’s recent scandal with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. However, Owens claims that wasn’t the worst of it. She believes that the actor was there to keep tabs on his former wife, Scarlett Johansson.
According to OK! Magazine, Candace Owens took to her Instagram story following the SNL 50 celebration. The commentator then shared her unfiltered thoughts about Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s appearance at the show. In Owens’ opinion, Reynolds was there to see Johansson and her current husband, SNL star Colin Jost. She says that the actor could have had revenge on his mind as well.
“There’s a piece of me that feels he only showed up to see/stalk Scarlett Johansson, the ‘one that got away’ from his narcissistic abuse,” she stated on IG. “He needs to insert himself in everything she does. Hence, attacking Wayfarer, befriending Hugh Jackman and casting Channing Tatum.”
Owens then revealed that Reynolds may have wanted to be there in retaliation against Johansson’s husband, Jost, who recently cracked a small joke about the Baldoni lawsuit while hosting an episode of Pop Culture Jeopardy.
Candace Owens Claims Ryan Reynolds Is Stalking Ex-Wife Scarlett Johansson

“I feel like Ryan needed to show up tonight and awkwardly insert himself into the evening because of that,” Owens added. “He’s just an unhinged narcissist. Needs constant attention.”
Reynolds and Johansson began dating in 2007. One year later, they got engaged and walked down the aisle in the actor’s home country of Canada. However, after just two years of marriage, the superhero actors announced their split (via Us Weekly).
In recent weeks, Owens has spoken very candidly about Reynolds and Lively. She’s claimed that Reynolds is very “insecure,” which may have led to the lawsuit drama.
Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had their first public night out since the scandal exploded at the SNL event. During one segment when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were taking audience questions, the actor stood up. When they asked how he’d been he replied, “Great. Why, what have you heard?”
The joke was seemingly in reference to the couple’s legal battles and headline-making lawsuit. However, it didn’t go over well with fans online. The actor was met with criticism over the comments.
With the exception of Ryan Reynold’s joke alongside Blake Lively at the Saturday Night Live show, the couple have stayed quiet about the drama. However, Candace Owens refuses to be silent, and she continues to let her fans know her thoughts on the duo as more information comes to light.
