Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter‘s PR team is growing very concerned about the Expresso hitmaker’s reputation as an entertainer. They feel Carpenter is taking her sexpot stage presence too far. They are considering staging an intervention in hopes of reeling back the singer’s overly sexual and raunchy performances before it is too late.
Sabrina Carpenter is catching a lot of backlash over her suggestive lyrics and dance moves on stage during her Short and Sweet Tour. However, by no means does Sabrina Carpenter come across on stage as a wholesome entertainer. This has resulted in many shocked parents labeling her as a bad example to the tweens and younger female teens who listen to her music, according to Daily Mail reports.
The singer looks to thoroughly enjoy playing the role of a sexpot as she sings her suggestive tunes in front of a crowded audience. Carpenter has talked in the past about the female artists such as Madonna and Britney Spears that have come before her being judged as too sexual.

However, many, including Sabrina’s team of PR believe that she may be pushing things too far. They are currently drumming up ways to convince the 25-year-old to tone things down a bit.
Sabrina is on the fast track to fame. Her suggestive stage outfits and lyrics have aided in her instant stardom. But, the ever-mounting backlash has her team in panic mode and fearing it has ‘gone way too far‘ and could cost the singer dearly.
Sponsors Rethinking Endorsements Due To Major Sabrina Carpenter Backlash
Carpenter’s management team fears the bad publicity could cause the singer’s sponsors to rethink partnering with her. Early in the tour, Sabrina’s shows were nowhere near as risque as they have become.
It appears to have become an ongoing challenge for Sabrina Carpenter to one-up herself during each tour stop, especially during her performance of Juno.
During the song, the singer says to the audience, “Wanna try out some freaky positions? / Have you ever tried this one?” Then, she rushes to center stage and drops into a different graphic pose at each show.

Sabrina recently caused quite a commotion during her recent concert in Paris. During Juno, she ran to the center of the stage with two male dancers to simulate the ‘Eiffel Tower‘ sex position. Clad in her signature tiny skirt, she bent over, sandwiched between the two men, in a very shocking sexual display.
“Why are some parents bringing their 8-12 year-olds to the concerts and then? Then in turn, getting upset about it since her lyrics are provocative and not for kids,” one fan writes. “Parents really need to do their research before taking their kids to concerts,” suggests another.
“You can show sexy without making it seem off-putting, embarrassing, and crude,” states one more.
Carpenter has wanted to be the star that she is now. “It has made a lot of people rich. Until that is seriously threatened, she will continue to do what has been working for her,” another insider reveals.
Sabrina Carpenter’s team is allegedly already working to soften her sexualized image. However, according to some, it could be too little too late in the game at this point.
