Savannah is wondering how being a guardian to her niece, 10-year-old Chloe Chrisley, and brother, 16-year-old Grayson Chrisley, might impact building a family in the near future.
Savannah explained that she is in the angry stage of grief and is angry at everything. After being a guardian to the parentless children, Savannah having kids is a concept she’s been contemplating. This question has come in consideration of the impact their family situation has affected the family.
Although the reality TV star admits that this reaction is from a place of anger, she also stated that she does not have any resentment about stepping up for her younger family members. The TV personality further clarified that she does not want people to take her words out of context because she loves the kids. According to Savannah Chrisley, the kids are her everything, and they have so much fun together.
Why Did Savannah Become Guardian For Her Younger Family Members?
Savannah’s parents, 54-year-old Todd and 50-year-old Julie, were sentenced to prison for fraud and tax evasion. Therefore, this past January, the couple began their prison time. Todd is to serve his prison time for 12 years, while Julie’s prison time is seven years.
Per People, Savannah has since become a primary guardian to Chloe, who was adopted by her Todd and Julie from their estranged son, Kyle, and to Grayson. So it has been hard for the reality TV star to take up her role at 25 suddenly. However, she has been trying to do the best she can.
During the recent podcast episode, Savannah Chrisley continued by explaining that she recently felt some hope while spending time with the kids. The Chrisley Knows Best alum brought up an instance when they were in the car as she drove them to see their father. The reality TV star explained that the kids were carefree and excited, which gave her hope that they would be okay.
