It’s also only available via Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, and Ubisoft Connect. Yep, no Steam or GOG releases.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will also include two additional DLC characters: Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. Aside from four playable characters Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine, and Stephen Stills from the base game. The re-release was teased on the game’s 10th anniversary back on September 10th and was revealed a few hours later in the Ubisoft Forward live stream event.

In case you have never get your hands on this classic title, Scott Pilgrim vs the World Game is a four-player beat-em-up game that loosely adapts the popular Scott Pilgrim comic series. It was first released digitally for Xbox 360 and PS3 in August 2010 before being delisted in December 2014. You play as Scott and his friends in a quest to defeat Ramona’s seven evil ex-partners. Each character has their own skills to upgrade from shops with money you gain from defeating enemies. You could say the game plays more like River City Ransom than Final Fight or Street of Rage.
The game combined that fun gameplay with a cute pixel-art and a rocking chiptune soundtrack as well. And thanks to that, even I, someone who’s barely familiar with the comic series, enjoyed it a lot. It’s a bit of a shame Ubisoft can’t release the game for this year’s holiday season. But hey, at least we can play it again. Ready to rock with friends again in Scott Pilgrim vs the World Game?
