Arrow’s sixth season was…weird. It started off with a whimper but eventually, it did seem to find its footing around the end of the season. One of the most talked about things regarding the Arrowverse these days is how long will Oliver Queen stay in prison and what does this mean for the Green Arrow going forward?
Well, none of those things were answered in this awesome San Diego Comic-Con trailer for Arrow season seven. You can see it down below:

Maybe they should just leave Oliver in prison for the entire season.
With characters like Bronze Tiger, Brick, and Derek Sampson returning, it seems that we are getting an adaptation of the canceled Green Arrow: Escape from Supermax movie. Oliver’s story-arc over the course of these first few episodes will be compelling to watch for sure.
Back in Star City, we know that it has been five months without Ricardo “The Dragon” Diaz in charge. It has also been five months without a vigilante sighting. It looks like that will change with an unknown person taking the Green Arrow mantle.
Now this could just be Diggle but you have to admit, this unknown vigilante is far too small to be David Ramsey under the hood. We know that Colton Haynes, who plays Roy Harper, is returning as a series regular in season seven. Roy may be taking his old mentor’s role while Oliver is on “vacation”.
Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) is also returning to exact his revenge on Team Arrow. With him will be the Longbow Hunters, a group of three highly-trained killers that even the League of Assassins dared not to cross. It has been confirmed that the Longbow Hunters will include Red Dart “a ruthless and precise killer”, Kodiak “a beast of a man with brute force”, and Silencer “a master of stealth”.
Arrow season seven will premiere October 15th on the CW.
