Sea of Stars is an example of a classic JRPG with an addictive story where you have to fight against evil enemies. However, the combat system will surprise you with the variety of features and combos that you can do. But for this, you will have to progress and find new companions. There are many different characters in the game, but only a few of them can become your companions. So, read on to find out about all the playable characters in Sea of Stars.

Before you begin your adventure in Sea of Stars, you will be given the choice to play as Zale or Valere. However, this only affects who will be the head of the party. In terms of story or interaction with the world, nothing will change. In addition, during the game, you can change the Sea of Stars “main character”.

As we said, Sea of Stars is a Retro RPG, so your party will not be limited to two characters. Almost at the beginning of the game, you will meet Garl, a brave warrior who is also the best friend of Zale and Valere. His stats are quite high, so that you can deal much physical damage with him.

After that, you will have to go through more than one battle to find new companions. Each of them will have unique abilities; some may even surprise you. So be careful, as the list of all Sea of Stars playable characters below contains spoilers:

  • Valere (Lunar Monk) – Available to players at the very beginning of the game
  • Zale Playing Sea of Stars, you can find new companions for your party, so read on to learn about all the playable characters. (Solar Blade Dancer) – Available to players at the very beginning of the game
  • Garl (Warrior Cook) – Joins the party at the very beginning.
  • Serai (Portal Assassin) – Becomes available after the events in Lucent.
  • Resh’an (Immortal Alchemist)- Reach Docarri Village to unlock it.
  • B’st (Living Glass Golem)- Reach the Lost One’s Hamlet to unlock it.

Each of them has a unique set of skills that will help you defeat even the most powerful enemies. But to become truly strong, you have to fight a lot and choose your Bonus Stats wisely.
