The Mr. Chest Game is a small side activity in Sea of Stars through which you can try your luck and earn or lose money. To do this, you must go to Brisk Town and visit the house of Mr. Chest near the central part of the city. When you enter the desired building, Mr. Chest will invite you to play his game. You will have to pay 5G to participate and open one of three identical chests to receive one of the following rewards:
- 10G
- 2G
- Nothing
There is no trick in this game, and the result of your choice is always random. As we said earlier, you can double your money if luck is on your side. If you fail, you lose everything. Also, if you win five times (not necessarily in a row), you will get Rainbow Conch. As you progress through the game, you must collect 60 of these shells to get the Rainbow Star and use it to get the true ending. Thus, participation in the game is not mandatory, but if you want to complete the game 100%, you must win.
How to Win Mr. Chest Game
As we said earlier, you cannot affect your luck to increase your chances of winning the game. The result of your choice is always random, and careful observation of Mr. Chest’s hands will not give you clues. That said, you can cheat using the basic game mechanics. You only need to save your game before you pay 5G for a try. If unsuccessful, load the save and try again. If you’re lucky, collect the reward, make another save, and play again. In this way, you can earn quite a lot of money if you are willing to spend time on it.
