Fans think Drake is trolling Kanye West, much to their dismay. Drake’s new single’s cover art features a Kim Kardashian look-alike in a helmet beside Drake. The picture and the content of Drake’s music prompted fans to think Drake might be breaking the peace. Get the details below.
Fans Think Drake Is Trolling Kanye West
Fans are confused about why Drake is trolling Kanye West after the latter released his latest music cover art.
Drake’s new single’s cover art posted on Instagram featured an image of him and a woman in matching motorcycle helmets.
Although Drake did not disclose the woman’s identity, fans accused him of trolling his former foe Kanye West. The unknown woman resembled Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, a lot.
“Drake a savage for using that Kim Kardashian pic for his single cover,” one fan wrote. “Is it me or is that Kim Kardashian under the helmet????????????? #Drake,” a second follower asked.
“NAHHHHH MAN DRAKE A WHOLE ASS SUPERVILLAIN FOR PUTTING KIM KARDASHIAN IN THE COVER LMFAOOOOOO,” wrote a third while a fourth observer noted, “Nah, Drake really on demon time. If that indeed is Kim Kardashian I’d be sick if I was Ye.”
Kanye Accused Drake Of Sleeping With Kim Kardashian And Her Mom
Meanwhile, speculation that Drake is trolling Kanye West didn’t start with Search and Rescue’s cover art.
Per Page Six, Drake premiered a snippet of the forthcoming song last week. The music featured audio of Kardashian speaking about her divorce from Kanye on The Fry Yiy Show.
“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” the reality star said on the 2021 series finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
According to the outlet, that November, Ye claimed that Drake “acted” like he slept with Kim, but she denied it.
The Yeezy founder later accused Drake of sleeping with Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner. However, Kris never refuted or confirmed the claims.
Kanye And Drake Settled Their Beef A Few Years Ago
The Certified Lover Boy rapper and Kanye ended their long-time feud in November 2021. Therefore, the turn of events is confusing to fans.
Many also think Drake should not use Kim’s voice and alleged likeness for his new music.
At the time, Ye shared a picture of himself standing with Drake and music executive J. Prince in Toronto. He captioned the post with a dove emoji, symbolizing that the rap icons had made peace.
It is still unclear if Drake is trolling Kanye West because of the accusations or for something else. Hopefully, the two will settle their beef soon.
