Travis Kelce is showing support for one of Taylor Swift’s best friends. Weeks after Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco confirmed they’re dating, the NFL star confirmed he’s a fan of the new couple by “liking” photos of them on Instagram. The pictures showed the actress and record producer sitting courtside at a Lakers game, which marked the first time they were seen on a public date together. Considering Gomez and Swift are best friends, fans hope Kelce’s recent Instagram activity may hint a double date is in the works for the singers and their boyfriends.

GQ Sports was behind the post that captured Kelce’s attention. It showed Gomez and Blanco sitting beside each other at the Crypto.com Arena. The pair was there to enjoy a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat on Jan. 3. Throughout the match, the stars showed off PDA by intertwining their arms together. Gomez also comfortably leaned her head on Blanco’s shoulder while scrolling on her phone. At one point, the couple was captured posing for cute photos by sticking out their tongues and giving the camera peace signs.
Their appearance at the Lakers game came weeks after Gomez and Blanco went public with their relationship. Although the singer hinted she and the producer have been together for months, the pair only recently confirmed they’re dating on Dec. 7.
Gomez’s best friend, Taylor Swift, also found love in 2023. After she and her previous boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, broke up last April, Swift began dating Travis Kelce sometime in the summer. The football star, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, caught Swift’s attention after he mentioned her on his New Heights podcast in July. Since then, Swift and Kelce have been going strong. In fact, they even spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve together.
Since they’re continuing to get close, fans hope Swift and Kelce’s 2024 plans include grabbing dinner with Gomez and Blanco.
