Not everyone has a good relationship with their former spouse; even fewer extend their good graces to their former spouse’s new partner. But when people can put aside their feelings, something beautiful can happen. Such is the situation between Christina Haack and Heather El Moussa, who have not only established a good relationship for the overall benefit of their families but recently decided to take things to a whole new level.
Haack was married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 until 2016. During this time, the couple welcomed two children. They have established a fantastic co-parenting relationship, and when Tarek married Heather in 2021 (they started dating in 2019), fans were pleased to see Haack supporting the relationship.

Support is one thing, but the women appear to have more than mutual respect and understanding because they recently collaborated on Heather Rae’s Essentials. A video was shared on Instagram that switched between Heather and Haack, and the caption explained what was happening. “Bet you didn’t see this one coming…” the caption teases. “Serving sweet with a side of savage, a Lippie Gloss that does both.”
Fans have reacted to the post with messages of support, praising these two women for uplifting each other rather than making each other enemies. “You 2 set the bar high for womanhood. Setting it all aside and being moms first. Love this,” a fan reacted. “Better together!” another comment reads.
Other reactions include, “You’re both beautiful inside & out & great moms. Very good examples for young women,” and “Love the friendship between you two.. Great example, and y’all are just too cute!!“ Heather and Haack being on good terms benefits everyone!
Haack has received criticism for her relationships in the past, and she has had three divorces. But she is on good terms with Tarek, and they can converse honestly. “When our stuff imploded, I felt like not only did I lose… we were best friends, but also I felt like I lost like, I need to be a full-time mom. And that really, really, really hurt me a lot and really affected me,” Haack said in a 2025 episode of their HGTV show, The Flip Off, per People.
The former couple also forgave each other and apologised for any prior wrongdoings. Should people who find themselves in similar situations be taking a page from their book? Making that decision for others is impossible, but we know that the relationship between these former spouses really works for them.
