Hips Don’t Lie singer, Shakira, and Gerard Pique, her former beau, never allowed a marriage certificate to define their bond. For twelve years they remained in what many saw as a devoted relationship.
Shakira sacrificed her career, moving to Spain to allow Pique to have a glorious time advancing his football career. Consequently, it strengthened her relationship with her kids. Is Gerard Pique’s New Girlfriend In Shakira’s Song?
No, and Yes. The 23-year-old did not appear in the song—not that the video has been released, but Shakira’s leaked lyrics were a shade at Gerard Pique’s new girlfriend and the Spanish athlete. The singer teamed up with producer Bizarrap on the latest track,” Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53,” which will debut in a few hours.
An Extract from the song goes, “I’m too big for you, that’s why you’re with someone just like you…This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn’t sting, I won’t return to you anymore even if you cry or beg me.”
In a former song titled Monotonía Shakira explained that it was nobody’s fault. She blamed “monotony,” claiming she knew it was inevitable.

Shakira and Gerard Pique‘s separation soon became old news as the former football star quickly moved on with Clara Chia Marti, fifteen years his junior.
Pique did not try to conceal his newfound love, instead, he has been spotted sharing PDA moments with Marti since last year August.
