Shania Twain says a lot has changed for her since 1998. So much so that if she would have written her hit song That Don’t Impress Me Much in 2024, she would omit Brad Pitt’s name from the tune. Instead, she has another guy in mind for the song, leaving her fans surprised by her choice.
During a recent interview with the Times of London, Shania Twain said that her first choice to replace Brad Pitt would have been Channing Tatum. However, she has changed her mind again. So move over, Brad; Shania has a thing for Harry Styles.
After performing with former One Direction boy bander Harry Styles, the singer admits she was left very impressed and describes him as the new Elvis Presley. The two entertainers performed together in 2022 at Coachella.
Harry Styles was the headliner, bringing Shania Twain on stage as a special surprise guest. Styles told the audience that he had been a longtime fan of Shania and was honored to have the chance to perform on stage with her.
Shania Twain Suffers Midlife Meltdown
The former One Direction heartthrob gushed over his idol Shania Twain, calling the “Man I Feel Like a Woman” singer his biggest fashion and music influence. According to Entertainment Weekly, Shania took it as a “huge compliment.”
“Because I wasn’t recording for so long, I didn’t really realize the effect the music was having on, like, little kids… the next generation.” She added, “So here they are, voicing it now that they’re in their own adult life… it’s wicked. I’m, like, over the moon about it.”
Of course, Shania Twain’s fans may not all agree with the idea of actor Brad Pitt being replaced, even if it is only in thought. Radar Online reports that Shania, 58, is allegedly having a mid-life crisis meltdown.
The singer allegedly is having a difficult time keeping up with her younger rivals. Shania Twain’s wild stage behavior and appearance have raised a lot of eyebrows lately. Fans claim that Twain’s act is difficult to swallow as one pronounced it “terrible” and another labeled it “literal trash.”
An insider shares, “What she’s doing is not about talent. It’s about shock value and getting attention. But the belief is she’s just coming across as desperate.” Another adds, “She’s trying to prove she can be sexy,” another fan writes. “But her pals are trying to tell her that she doesn’t need to try so hard.”
Even more troubling, per sources, is that the demanding Sin City shows are draining her energy. Despite the online chatter, Shania Twain and her reps deny the singer undergoing any such midlife meltdown.
