In a recent interview with Bishop Barron, Shia LaBeouf thanked his ex-girlfriend, FKA Twigs, for saving his life amidst their ongoing legal battle of almost two years. Twigs, 34, publicly accused LaBeouf, an American actor, of relentless abuse, amongst others.
Tahliah Debrett Barnett, also known as FKA Twigs, sued him in December 2020 for sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, and assault. She also accused the 36-year-old of choking her and threatening to crash the car while they were in motion.
The English Singer and songwriter didn’t stop at that. She alleged that LaBeouf intentionally infected her with an STI. But LaBeouf denied all these allegations by stating that Twigs wasn’t entitled to any relief or damages whatsoever.
However, Labeouf has experienced a “perspective shift,” and his current state of mind regarding Twig’s case is quite different. He talked about other important topics in his chat with the Bishop.

According to Labeouf, his old self was mad at Twigs for accusing him of all these things. He was going to rant on social media, but he sees things differently now. His shift in perspective forced him to quit a bad habit, and he’s grateful to Twigs for this.

Shia Labeouf thanked FKA Twigs for saving his life because the case between them has helped him become a better version of himself. During the interview, Labeouf clarified that he had quit alcohol for good. He reiterated that Twigs is a saint in his life, and she saved him from himself.
Recently, Labeouf was in the news for being thrown out of Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling.” But he denied Wilde’s claims by stating that he resigned by himself, and fans have reasons to believe him as he backed his statement with “SMS” evidence.
