As you explore the vast space of Starfield, you will have to answer an interesting question. Should you dock on Grandma’s Ship for food, and is it safe? As you navigate the uncharted space in Starfield and further explore its depths, you are bound to meet a diverse array of characters. Grandma’s ship is one of many ship encounters you will experience. While it appears to offer food and supplies, it is vital to remember that Grandma could be a space pirate luring you into a trap. There might be an unpleasant surprise behind this warm facade, after all.

Docking at Grandma’s ship in Starfield is safe. You won’t have trouble docking with her ship since she is not an enemy. When you engage in a dialogue with Grandma, you will find out about her backstory. She will inform you that she is a space-adventuring, free-roaming spacer looking to help anyone who crosses her path.

Moreover, she will share an anecdote or a few about her children and family overall. She will offer you food. Grandma’s ship is well-stocked with cooked and prepared meals. These will provide you with a significantly higher health restoration than random ingredients or packaged food you come across in the open world.

On the other hand, there is a theory circulating the internet about Grandma being a cannibal. A few think that you might need to fight her in future encounters. Nevertheless, there is no reason to question Grandma’s story. Offering food and rest makes her more like everybody’s grandma, only in space.

Where to Find Grandma’s Ship in Starfield

Now that you know it is entirely safe to dock and visit Grandma’s Ship in Starfield, you probably want to see where you can find it. Unfortunately, Grandma is a random encounter. This means that she doesn’t have one specific location where you can find her. Grandma’s ship usually appears when you opt for a gravitational jump to a new planet system.
