Meri Brown Coyly Reveals She’s Open to Dating Again
Season 18 of Sister Wives sees Meri Brown continuing to distance herself from the larger family. In a recent Instagram Live with best friend Jenn Sullivan — with whom she hosts Fridays with Friends — Meri laughed as someone suggested the two of them should date.
“I’m dating my husband, but that’s it,” Jenn replied. “He’s trying to set Meri up then we shall double date!”
Meri and Kody were together for 32 years, with the former pair announcing their split in early 2023. The two were legally married from 1990 to 2014. That year, Kody divorced Meri in order to marry Robyn. Several breakups have cited Robyn as the “favorite” among the wives.
“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship,” the two said in a statement shared on Instagram.
“During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect toward each other and to all members of our family, and we are also committed to the continued healing of any and all relationships within the family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love,”
Christine Brown admitted moving on from Kody was “frustrating” for her.
In the latest episode of the reality series, Christine talked about dating with her kids, admitting to them, “I think dating sounds like fun. It’s been frustrating, but it’s not like I go out that much too. And how do I be public like that?”
As they debated a safe way she could explore online dating, Christine opened up more about her situation in a confessional.
“I’m not interested in casual hookups. I don’t want to do that,” she says.
Later on, Christine tells her kids, “I like the idea of being in a romantic, loving relationship a lot — but I also really like how my life is right now.”
