Slay the Spire, one of the biggest hits in PC gaming of the last few months is landing on mobile later this month. Developer Mega Crit announced its game is landing on iOS sometime in June, though it’s keeping the exact release date under wraps.

Making the announcement on its Steam page, the developers said it won’t be long until the launch date is revealed. The company hinted the release date would be revealed at this weekend’s Guerrilla Collective.

While the company isn’t saying exactly when Slay the Spire releases, it did say how much you can expect to pay. The game will cost $9.99 in the iPhone and iPad.

There was also an explanation as to why the title won’t be on Android anytime soon.

“The Android version is still in the works but we’re not quite ready to talk about release yet. As we know a large part of our community are excited to play Slay the Spire on mobile we took the decision to launch the iOS version first.”

The game was first released in January of 2019 and has been one of the more popular games around. With more than 60,000 reviews on Steam, the game has gotten an “overwhelmingly positive” rating. The game has set itself apart with its format.

While it’s a deck-building game, it also allows users to play out a fight. There are also numerous ways to reach the bosses and levels of the game and it allows players to pick their path, to some degree.

Slay the Spire being included in the Guerrilla Collective becomes one of the only games that we know for sure will have some news at the event. While the game hasn’t gotten any specific DLC since its release it has added characters along the way.
